The Shipyard Group Houseboat
After Hurricane Wilma destroyed the historic houseboat at Bradford Marine, the yard’s craftsmen went about building a new houseboat. When it came time for interior décor, vice president Kathy Nitabach called on Yacht Décor. Working closely with Kathy, we collaborated on just about everything – from paint colors and floor coverings to furniture and faux floral arrangements. The houseboat was to be not merely office space for The Shipyard Group, but a destination for sellers and buyers. The light-filled space and cool color palette immediately convey the sense of being in a seaside cottage. Standout features include beautiful glass tile in the bathrooms and an outstanding hand in-laid capiz shell wall covering in the conference room. With an inviting reception area, two conference rooms, guest work areas and an abundance of charter, broker and support staff offices, sellers and buyers will be comfortable and confident working with the Shipyard Group.
